GratiTangles 2020 day 3 - Fife....well, I changed it a bit hence it is Fake
Fife...and I did it in a Phi grid, so I could call it Phi Fake Fife.
GratiTangles 2020 day 4 and 7 with tangles Ixorus and Auraknot respectively. Over night creepy Ixorus is sliding its way out from under Auraknot and will probably land on top of it.
GratiTangles 2020 day 9, 20 and 24 with tangles Mooka, Opus and Twing respectively.
♻️ GratiTangles 2020 day 8, 12, and 30 with respective tangles Shattuck, Pokeleaf and Pokeroot, and Ing on a recycled packaging tile.
GratiTangles 2020 day 7 and 17 with tangles Auraknot and Squid.
GratiTangles 2020 day 30 with tangle Ing. This is pure Ing with all lines curved, 4 strands of it. Once it was in this state I put a transparent sheet over it to check how best I can add to it, make it more dramatic, but... Sometimes less is more.
GratiTangles 2020 day 10 with Rain...camouflaged within leaves. Or maybe this is a new tangle? I could call it Rainfall? Like leaves are falling in the rain?
GratiTangles 2020 day 26 with tangle Rumpus. Rumpus is not one of my favorites somehow. Maybe because it is a ball of messy stuff in it. So I tore mine apart. Now I call this "new" tangle "Rumpus Asunder".
And this is day 11 in GratiTangles 2020 with tangle Betweed. I had no real idea what I was going to do with this tangle so I started drawing tubes. When I approached the finishing line I realized I made a huge mistake: I should have drawn this tangle on a blue tile! As it is, the tubes turned very much into sea sponges. Watch below 30 second video.
These sponges are considered oceans vacuum cleaners. If you have never personally seen them, let alone in action, watch this interesting demonstration on this YouTube video (30 seconds).
I posted this Betweed tile in the Facebook group Anything Goes - Tangled Art For Everyone when I had 2 surprise reactions. Ljerka Ledenko asked permission to try my tile, which I gladly granted. An instant later I found this wonderful tile by Ljerka in the comments. I thoroughly love it! ...

Drunk Betweed curtesy Ljerka Ledenko.
...and PeteR Grantham was sure, this new version of Betweed deserves an extra
name. So Ljerka came up with Drunk Betweed. I liked it and thus it is now
'Drunk Betweed'. Thanks Ljerka for drawing this wonderful tile and the name
and thanks to PeteR for suggesting a new name should be thought out.
GratiTangles 2020 day 29 with tangle Keeko.
GratiTangles 2020 day 25 with tangle Hollis. I resisted drawing circles.
GratiTangles 2020 day 28 with tangle Cyme - speak 'see-me'. I learnt that from Pat Mathes over at FB group ZIA Tips, Tricks, and Techniques that runs the GratiTangles 2020 inspirational challenge.
GratiTangles 2020 day 14 with tangle Goudgeous, and 7F5R Tusday challenges Nov 17 with Zinger and Nov 24 with SeZ squeezed in while kept simple. I only just started doing 7F5R challenges with the Staghorn tile below being my first one, or better, an apology tile because I placed GratiTangles tiles in their FB group and was asked to remove them, which I did. A few hours later I got another message now allowing GratiTangle tiles being published in their group. Oh, well, next year maybe. Meanwhile I check in with 7F5R every week for a new challenge prompt.
GratiTangles 2020 day 14 with yet another Gourdgeous tangle, day 29 with Keeko and a very altered Vega as a sub GratiTangle suggestion. Then in the FB Group Square One Purely Zentangle from Nov 13-19 we had the tangle Walkthrough.
Refresher #217 with tangles Ambler, Rayz, Roloflex, Skelter, and And.
Refresher #218 with tangles Avreal, Mosi, Mositoo, Auseklis, Novio.
For Refreshers tangle listing and images from #1 to latest date click here or visit my Google Refreshers collection album for just the images.
Square One - Purely Zentangle. November 6-12 with tangle Zanglers.
Square One - Purely Zentangle. October 30 - November 5 with tangle Morrisseau on a water colored background. Hmmm, what can I say other than "at least I made something'.
My first tangle for 7F5R (7 Forests 5 Rivers) Tuesday's challenge. The November 3 challenge features a tangle called StagHorn - the white lines inside the black spaces. I point it out because when I uploaded it in the corresponding FB group Debbie E. New, the tangle's author, didn't recognize her own tangle at first.
7F5R Fortnightly Theme Nov 16, 2020: the tangle Luminesque. I didn't like the Christmassy tile so much so I made an almost monotile with Luminesque, accompanied only by Javik.
Tangle Patterns: Luminesque, Javik, Toodles, Printemps, Ahh!
Inspired by... the new tangle Flow Leaves by Miranda Gerber garnished with Mooka and Tipple. If you think it is a bit too colorful...this tile is dedicated to my friend Uschi in Switzerland who loves colored artwork. Uschi, I hope this cheers you up a bit....and if only for a minute or two. Thinkin of you and Meredith.
Time to Kill
Here the last puzzles of set 1, 21-24. As usual an example with this SANDBOX
hint. All results at the bottom of this post in the smallest, tiniest type
just in case you accidentally scroll down and read what you didn't wanted to
read just yet.
Sometimes a rescue may take years and you may ask why bother. The answer:
because in the end it is totally worth it. Here is the case of Nina, a blind
scared pup, with the best gift to the rescuer Viktor Larkhill.
Thank you for visiting my page. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving with all
your family members together. Maybe you even considered inviting that lonely
neighbor next door... ???
