Inktober was started by Jake Parker, an illustrator and cartoonist, who wanted to improve his ink drawing by drawing daily for a month. The month he chose: October. Hence INKTOBER. To make it easy for his followers on subjects to choose for each and every day, he published a listing of 31 prompts.
How did we tangler get into this?
Stephanie Jennifer, CZT 21, publishing at Everything is Art, produced her own list of 31 prompts filling it with tangle names, one tangle per day. Well, this is the easy part of this monthly challenge. Some tanglers have taken it a step further and either combined Jake's and Stephanie's list or interpret Jake's items with tangles.
If this is the first time you hear about Inktober and would like to participate, check out the above links to both Jake's and Stephanie's websites. You can still find old listings.

Below my contribution or in my Google album. I didn't do all days and I combined many to keep up with this challenge. Alas! There is so much I want to do and the day still only has 24 hours.
