* When I saw Fan and Flutterby Wings I shook my head, took a deep breath in and let it out with a deep hopelessness. Nope, I thought, I will skip these 2 for sure. But then, me giving up? No way. I kept coming back to the 2...tried combining them somehow until finally I was ready to accepted this very real challenge and produce a tile. That was then... Now I love the tangles and like the tile which I consider as one of my top favorites in this series. Thanks creators Angelina Foong (Fan) and Nancy Swanger (Flutterby Wings) for sending in your patterns and letting me (!) 'struggle' with them.

I have a new motto for my Tangle 365 days.... "Keep Up, Lil' Susie 🎵". I finally made it and caught up April 24th. Huff-puff!  😅

Thanks so much for visiting. I am a little bit in a hurry, but I can assure you, both my roommates are doing fine. It is me who suffers. The tyrants are waking me earlier and earlier (now ~ 3.30am) which forces me into earlier and earlier bedtimes.

Tangle 365 - Daily Bite-Sized Prompts March 2022.

Still on my catch up trip. I was doing very well until I bought a new laptop with a new windows number: Eleven. I always ran into problems with newly released Window versions and this upgrade is no exception. I have enough experience to fix issues by making changes to the registry, but I am really at a loss when I can't find solutions to problems I urgently need fixing. Speak the File Explorer's Search field. One step fore means first fixing 3 to 6 other settings/issues first. Help!  (Update at time of publication: Found the fix! Me am happy again!)

Anyway, the above situation has slowed me in my catch up efforts. The week I won is lost again and has me speed-drawing again.

Walter, a furless bag of bones, tuned into the most beautiful and handsome prince loved dearly by his adopted new family in Germany. This video goes to show that you should never give up on a neglected furless bag of bones....

...or, as in this video, give up when rescue barriers seem too heavy to overcome.

I got adopted AGAIN! 

Meet Coal. About 3 weeks ago he showed up at the back of my kitchen having a go at the disgarded cat food in the bin. Chasing him away I assumed he was a neighbor's cat, but I learned quickly, it was more likely a case of abandonment. Young - male - and rampageous he is a nuiscance to me and C.O. While I again suffer from bloody scratch lines on hands and arms poor C.O. reacted to this home invation by declaring war. C.O. and I had such a great life going, understanding each other, respecting each other - and now this. In these 3 weeks the hissing and growling, ear flattening and claw showing has become a bit less, but will they ever be friends? 

Anyway, here, this is Coal, innocently sitting on my computer desk. I doubt I will ever be able to shoot a harmonious image showing both cats sleeping close to each other unless I photoshop it. Ugh!

Tangle 365 - Daily Bite-Sized Prompts challenge, a brain child by Canadian tangler Tabitha Bedoukian dedicated to the 365 days of 2022. ...BB Tangle Dream and her series 'The Charm of the 'Huggins'. So if you are a fan of Huggins and want to be inspired click on the links to follow her clear and easy video tutorials. My 'click and follow' turned into a Huggins Mania or was it a simple case of not being able to let go? I hadn't even finished a tile I already had another in my mind and on it went.

Animal Happy Day

From a skeleton walking on a deserted island's beach to a designer coat wearing diva. Who says dreams are just that...dreams. hasn't counted in the human with a good heart.

Albeit the above starting on a rather sad side in this video I want to show you that we here in Thailand do care about animals as well. The video is a bit long, but it contains cute and funny scenes of a baby elephant wanting to play with the mahout who has got to do his job. For me it also spelt trust and love on both sides.

C.O. is not talking to me right now. He is not even looking at me. I gave him hugs and kisses, tasty tuna and treats, whispered little sweet nothings into his ears....all to no avail. He is offended and his pride is crushed being seen like this. But hey, if you lick your battle bites and never let them dry the vet packs you up. 

At the time (10pm) of this publishing C.O. is MIA. I am not nervous. I only check the doors front and back and make loud calling noises to make sure possible burglars don't get their hopes up. 

CO after the visit to the vet today Feb 28.

Update March 1: C.O. has come home after midnight Feb 28. Probably couldn't resist sleeping in a safe, cushy, warm bed with his human. 

Update March 2: The next day C.O. has chewed his bandages and I had to go back to the vet. This time they put a jacket over his new bandages.
