Animal Happy Day

This happens only too often...

I have two cats, CO and Coal, and I took off their collars. They are now collar-less although fully grown up. I came to this decision because I had an incident with CO where he was in a fight with another cat and the collar got stuck in his jaw forcing his mouth wide open. It happened in my garden and I noticed he was twisting and falling, fighting himself, I quickly took off that stuck collar and all was A-OK. I refuse to imagine what would have happened if this had happened somewhere else.

Both my cats are/were street cats. I can't keep them indoors. Not only do I not have a room I can actually shut except for a bedroom, bathroom and an attached storeroom, but they are the kind of cats that need the open space with CO - most of the time - only coming home to eat. Luckily, I live in a housing estate with private roads thus very few and limited traffic and all houses have fences and walls (to keep dogs in and allow cats a quick refuge should the need arise).

Greetings from Thailand
Thank you very much for visiting
