Animal Happy Day

Animal Aid Unlimited in India got a 911 call about a dog too ugly to touch with a broken leg and an open would that was in urgent need of medical assistance. AAU used its healing wand as always and turn this ugly duckling into a beauty in disguise. Thank you, team AAU.

fluffy cotton ball. I still can't believe I once considered giving him away...

Animal Happy Day

Not sure I ever published a video about the super amazing Asher House animal rescue organisation. This is about Mildred, a Mastiff rescued just in time before she would have starved to death weighing but ~37 kg (70 pounds). Although it is wonderful to watch her filling out and getting stronger, at the same time it is so sad that this wonderful gentle dog was even found in a condition that screams of abuse.

It took a year but now Champ will never be wanting for anything in his life ever again....

Every afternoon CO comes home to claim his treats (hence his name: Clockwork Orange with Orange referring to his fur and not the horrible movie). Coal wouldn't beg for treats, he insists on wanting to be pet and kissed and stroked and head scratched and all. He is a real pain in the butt when housecleaning is scheduled. Thus here my latest shopping list: Mustard, Coffee, Noodle Soup, Prison Cell for Cats...

This is just for laughs...

Why do I have more images of Coal and not of CO? CO is an outdoor cat for sure. He comes home for food and if the weather is bad for a comfy nap in my bed. So I am more like a bed and breakfast for him. Coal, on the other hand, loves to have me around. He even volunteers to help me with my tile drawing - shading is his forte, well, if he is not acting as a Pasha par Excellence that is (2nd image). 

Forget shading for the day...😴

Coal actually sleeps😴 upright while leaning towards the desk shelf.

There are many DIY youTube videos out there and often I thought, this is the one I will try - only to never get a round Toit. However, the plastic bag-cum-rope video tut of only 2 min was so simple and inspiring I had to give 'roping' a go. 

And here my own, growing and truly endless plastic bag rope.

They usually survive the our rainy seasons, even when it rains a few days in a row or 24 hrs non-stop, but weeks of daily rains??!! So far so good.
