An Intense Paradox Infection; a few Inspired by...tiles; New Tangles Kelp I.Am & SiBai I.Am; and a tip on how to kill boredom during the Covit lockdown...

...at least for a few minutes. But first things first.

I am heavily infected, but it is a different kind of virus (= not Covit19 or the one that causes Dengue, which tours the infamous - now empty - tourist city Pattaya as well). The doctor assured me that I will survive it unscathed despite the high number of my age, but that my mind will still be crowded with the thought of it for some time to come after convalescing. The virus is called "PARADOX"!

BE WARNED! The suffering is a lot of fun, absolutely fantastic and you will love and enjoy every gratifying minute of it. So stay clear of the Paradox virus.

(You can find some of the Paradox strings at the end of the Paradox section)

♻️ Tile first infection is Paradox free-style on a recycled packaging cardboard tile.

The classic tangle Paradox
Tangle Pattern: Paradox

This Paradox attack was supported by Betweed (on a water colored background tile).

This tile shows the result of a rather mild Paradox virus attack. Still, I enjoyed it while it lasted. Meet the Paradox "Trees" tile.

This is one of my favorite infections: Paradox with A-Dalfa.

Another free-style Paradox tile with Kelp I.Am, Boulder Builder, Strutz and Jag. This bookmark style tile I started in the middle and I added triangles to both sides until I had to make the decision which side is up/down. The decision was quick once the new tangle Jag was introduced by tanglepatterns.com.

Here the Paradox virus hides itself in "The Mask". The tangles Fescu, Clob, and Denma help camouflaging Paradox. They are doing a great job! Time appropriate as well as ancient, reminding me of the Vientiane Carnival.

In this tile Paradox, in circles and leaves, has added some extra lines and garnished its surrounding with Tipple and Crescent Moon.

♻️ This tile I cut out of a Baygon mosquito coil packaging. I admit, here the virus has lamed my brain. For several days I had no clue how to finish the awkward paradox shapes. I added this and that and another this and that over too many days, but finally had my tile full to the rim and I could sign it off. (Thank heavens!) Added tangles are: Phicops, Beadlines, and Veezy.

A mess with a Paradox vine. Tangles causing the mess are Amaze (or Stiritup), Knightsbridge, Boulder Builder, Tipple. Trying to safe the mess is Henna Drum. Thank you, Henna Drum.

Paradox 3D on my surprise 1-day-blooming-only water plant flower. I couldn't resist, there is an early morning taken image of the flower towards the end of this post.
A string overlay over the Paradox 3D tile is among the strings below.

Geometrical Paradox. Just randomly placed triangles.

♻️ The final Paradox tile, drawn on the inside of an 'Equal Cafe Caramel Latte" cardboard box, aptly called "Paradox Out of the Box". Literally! Proof is below on the string/paradox lines overlay tile.

'Inspired by...' continues...

I drew my first 'copy-cat' tile last month (previous post) with Zentangle HQ's KTT 31. I thoroughly enjoyed following someone else's drawing and relished the result. Now, that I have 'smelled blood', I went in searched for another victim I can copy.

Emiko Kaneko. I knew the stakes were high, too high as I soon realized. But then, if you don't try...

This tile is my version of her 'Tangling and shading Zentangle' video series in her YouTube channel. The tangles I used are Mezzanine, Joki, SeZ, Sistar, Flux, and IcanToo.

Inspired by...No, this is better described as 'Reminiscing my time'...as a SCUBA diving instructor. A swarm of fish, string rays, soft and hard corals, my bubbles, and feeling safe from the bad weather lurking on the surface. Tangles: Dewdy-leaf kelp, an Indy-Rella fish swarm, bubbling Emo-coral-balls, Sting Rayz, and Angelfish sea-fans. I noticed I needed a filler tangle at the bottom left that would glide smoothly into Dewd, but couldn't find one. Thus my new tangle Kelp I.Am was born.

Inspired by...a new pattern I noticed on Pattern Collections called Windmoon by Uttara Shidore. It looked quite intriguing. I love challenging patterns especially when they are geometric. There is a logical way to approach them...similar to solving a Sudoku puzzle.

I stumbled over a tile in Pinterest I just had to recreate. Except for Printemps (on-a-Stick) and maybe Clob there are no further tangles involved and that is quite alright. I liked the overall design of it.

Animal Happy Day

The other day I was looking for C.O. knowing he must be around the house somewhere...

...Here is where I found him.

As for my video choice for this post. Calm....ing!!! This is not about our usual pets may they be dogs or cats or even farm animals. No, it is about more. As she says in this video, saving humankind.

Anti-Boredom Therapy and Odd Ends

Are you sitting at home feeling bored at times? I found a site that might keep you interested for a few minutes. Stereograms. I always loved to see the 3D image hidden in the flat color mess image in front of me. Once you figured out the trick  to see the 3D shapes and words the mess contained you can hardly stop jumping to the next messy image. This is a simple one I made myself with the tool available on the Stereogram site Hiden-3D. Have fun! If you have never seen this kind of 'entertainment', there is a 'how to' on their site.

This 26 July Sunday morning, when I did my usual early morning round through my garden, I came across a little surprise: my water plant, which I got from my Chinese hardware shop guy, sported a beautiful blue flower. Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected that!

May you adapt easily to this new world of ours. Who would have thought that this drastic of change can happen that quickly and include the whole world.

Take care you all and thanks for visiting.
