Square One

Square One July 30 to August 5 featuring the tangle Aleuba. I added my new tangle Condor and a bit of I-Wings (see stepouts below).

The real Halfsies

Square One August 6-12 is Halfsies. I like Halfsies enough to sit a bit longer with it and look what I could do with it. Hence below my real Square One tile with an adaptation of Halfsies.

Square One August 20-26 featuring Double Marasu. I added Joki and 2 new tangles I found on Annett Ruempler's website called Blattwerk and Bliili. Click on the names for stepouts. I also encourage you to have a look at all her other tangles if you don't already are familiar with them. It is worth your while, believe me.

Inspired by Zentangle Artists' Video Tutorials

It doesn't have to be complicated all the time and thus I gave this video tutorial by Tangle and Inspire a go. The tangles applied are Aki-Chain and Ayes. I added Fescu with a Ayes-leaf collars.

From My Garden

I saw these leaves in an abandoned lot and knew I had to dig some out and adopt them into my garden family...

Leaves of spoon flower plant

...and they thanked me with this gorgeous spoon-like flower that sprung out at the base.

Animal Happy Day

If at first glance it looks bad...take another.
What I like on Animal Aid Unlimited in India are the touching words near the end of every video

And yet another animal rescue video I couldn't resist placing. It is an older one and a bit longer. When I watched it the first time years ago I was sitting at the edge of my seat crossing my fingers hoping all goes well. I was still sitting at the edge of my seat when I watched it again a few days ago...

C.O., my cat, taking a nap at his very own home entry/exit, my bedroom window. Here in Thailand we have mosquito netting in front of windows and doors. I have to leave my bedroom netting open so C.O. can enter. One day I accidentally closed them... Exactly, C.O. had no trouble shred...I mean opening them. He can be glad my Swiss blood isn't appreciated by Thai mosquitos.

This post has turned out to be a bit long due to my laziness for posting. I'd rather draw tiles than clean up blog posts. So if you never make it to down here....I am not insulted. On the other hand, if you do make it down here I hope you have had time to watch the 2 animal videos despite one being a bit long. They are both worth your time though, believe me. Meanwhile C.O. and I thank you for visiting.

Meanwhile, stay tuned until my next - shorter - posting....
